Why WebsitesA lot of people have asked me why i develop websites. Well a website is a story. A story of an entrepreneur or a dream or a vision. A long and hard journey retold in just a few pages. I started developing interests in websites while i was traveling back in 2003. While you are on transit, any information that come your way is vital. My backpack, my dream and of course the lonely planet, i hopped from one city to another, continent to another and everytime i landed, cybercafes saved the day. Travel sites and forums were the greatest source of information about the towns and their life. While traveling, i came across a social entrepreneur, whose work really motivated me. I decided to travel seeking for people working wonders in the communities while still doing business. Social entrepreneurship got into me. Later, i got the urge of rewriting their stories and the idea of websites came in. My first website i owned was an agrovet website where i rewrote my passion for agriculture. I realized that the website explained my vision and dream for farming in Kenya. It was amazing. I thought that if i could develop websites for entrepreneurs, i could help them to unleash their dreams and visions to the rest of the world. That’s how i begun developing websites. I love it. It makes me feel like am story telling. Narrating the story of success and victory. Tales of great people who have dared to dream and make it happen. The stories of the entrepreneurs! |
